Summary/Abstract: On November 4, 2012, The New York Times declared 2012 as the year of the MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), due to the impact that they represented in the process of teaching and learning (Pappano, 2012). Since their inception in 2008, this new modality of sharing knowledge has positioned itself between the tastes and preferences of those interested in continuous education.
