Summary/Abstract: This mosque is located in the centre of Nevesinje, near the Sahat-kula (Clock Tower). It is situated in the Dugalića Mahala, formerly Pahljevića Mahala (street). It was built of cut stone, and covered with a tin roof. Next to the right side wall an octagonal tower (munara) was built, with the height of approximately twelwe meters. Above the entrance of the mosque the following inscription (tarih) in stone plate was carved in in stone: When Veli Aga, benefactor, religious man, for the first time had built this mosque, those who had heard about it, presented it with this chronological verse as a gift: Elevated is this corner where the home is of those who respect God, in 1515.
