Summary/Abstract: The process of archaeological knowledge mediation is preceded by the process of creating meaning in the discipline representing the past based on the findings of material culture. Librarians in the position of mediators transform archaeological knowledge and thus participate in the process of creating meaning in the discipline. The paper discusses the adoption of value co-creation process in the academic library environment. Value co-creation is based on collaboration with consumers in the innovation processes of new services and products of the organization. The general idea of value co-creation comes from recognizing consumers changing behavior, who from isolated and passive, becomes connected, active and informed. Therefore, this paper will describe “ArcheoReality”, the exhibition of work of students of the Department of Archaeology and Department of Library Science at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, which has been organized at the “2018 Open Door Event of the Faculty of Philosophy.”
