Summary/Abstract: One of the important tasks of modern library is education of users. Depending on library type, this issue is presented more or less. National library of Serbia has a big role in continuing professional education for librarians as well as educating all its users and visitors. Since 2001, Department of Scientific Information in National Library of Serbia offers Serbian scientific/academic community electronic library – KoBSON (Serbian Library Consortium for Coordinated Acquisition). To make better use of subscribed content through education of users and librarians about modern trends in field of scientific information, KoBSON team organizes set of lectures and trainings every year. These lectures and trainings are dedicated to PhD students, teaching staff at universities, researchers, librarians and editorials of scientific journals. A large number of topics from electronic publishing are covered. One of the distinguished seminars is the Education of PhD scholarships awarded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
