Summary/Abstract: The author describe the achievements of two great mathematicians born in Bacău County, Romania: Constantin Drâmbă and Solomon Marcus, members of Romanian Academy and remarkable scientists. Constantin Drâmbă obtained his doctoral degree at Sorbonne after he did his research at Science University of Paris. The article emphasis their prolific work with a long list of their papers.
