Summary/Abstract: Interdisciplinary involves intersection of different subject areas by ignoring the strict boundaries of disciplines. Metacognitive abilities such as decision making, problem solving, learning efficiency,are some of the objectives. On the curricular designing cross-talk skills or key skills. Horizontal transfers occur interdisciplinary knowledge from one discipline to another, methodological and conceptual level. The transfer reduces the effort re-learning that are common knowledge of several disciplines, enhances the functionality of the knowledge acquired within each discipline. The interdisciplinary approach fosters economic concepts and general principles, algorithms and strategies with a wide range of application in social sciences. Encouraging direct cooperation and exchange between specialists coming from different disciplines contribute to building a open nature of the research, the social practices and the school curriculum.
