Summary/Abstract: This article looks at the question of the justification for the aesthetic attitude. Firstly, a distinction is made between external and internal justification of the aesthetic attitude. Secondly, epistemic, socialbiological, ethical, artistic, aesthetic and hedonistic justifications are distinguished and analysed in the internal justification context.
