Harmful biological agents in automobile air-conditioning systems

Summary/Abstract: The road transport is the most common means of communication in Poland. To improve the comfort, the cars are equipped with air conditioning installation. As the service life increases, automobile air-conditioning systems can become polluted and be a source of microbiological contamination of inside vehicles. In order to reduce the exposure of vehicle users, the car air conditioning system should be properly used and regularly serviced.
