Summary/Abstract: The genealogy of the Barons and Counts of Pejacevich is interesting. Two of them, Jakov Baron Pejachevich and Franz Xaver Baron Pejachevich, are from the earliest generations of the family who left the Bulgarian lands after the defeat of the Chiprovtsi Uprising and settled within the Habsburg Empire. The two are partly familiar to Bulgarian researchers who have worked on the problems of the Catholic communities or on issues connected to our Renaissance literature. They are briefly mentioned in the works of L. Miletic, B. Peichev and others. Recently, Assoc. Prof. Penka Danova is also interested in it and corrects her knowledge of the Franz Xaver’s writings. The article briefly presents the main works of the two barons, mentions their unprinted works and shows their interests in the fields of history, philosophy, geography, theology. I also briefly introduce some other members of the Pejachevich family of counts such as Leopold Baron Pejachevich, Carlo Count Pejachevich, Ivan Nepomuk Count Pejachevich, Julian Count Pejachevich, whose works (printed and unprinted works) have also been preserved to this day. With their works and with their deeds, the writers and the enlighteners of the Pejachevich family have remained in the memory of generations for three centuries and make the idea of the family more complete and more inclusive.
