Summary/Abstract: The article reveals the status of express sociology as a scientific discipline. Were identified the factors that contributed to the appearance of operative sociology. These include: social dynamics, the time factor, the modern technology of public opinion surveys. Also were disclosed methodological bases of express sociology. Operative sociology relates to the field of humanitarian technologies and can serve as a management tool. In addition, benefits and risks of operational sociology technologies were established.
