Summary/Abstract: This paper presents and analyses the activities in Hungarian language that took place in the spring of 2019, examining the topic of friendship and love, following Matthew Lipman’s methodology. The location of our activities was one of the branches of the “Octavian Goga” Cluj County Library, with an average number of 8 participants (children aged between 6 and 15 years). These discussions helped children to understand the complexity of friendship as a moral value and phenomenon, the discussion and resolution of potential conflicts, the importance of explaining their views accurately, and their contribution to making things better.
