Application of the sanction of „warning” in the contraventional legislation of Republic of Moldova and Romania

Summary/Abstract: The published material reveals clear information about the application by the state authorities of the contravention sanction – the contravention warning, as the main punishment, approached through the law of the Republic of Moldova and Romania – comparative aspect. The proposed study highlights the particularities and conditions of applying the warning, considering the degree of social danger of the committed crime, the circumstances in which the deed was committed and the personal circumstances of the offender. At the same time, important issues regarding the form of the contravention warning were addressed. An important section of the paper was dedicated to contravention subjects that can be sanctioned with warning.
