Modern Graffiti – the Challenge for the Researchers of Everyday Life

Summary/Abstract: The history of ancient and modern graffiti is very similar to artistic activity. Graffiti is always dependent on the time and place, as well as social and intellectual life of the era. It should therefore be seen as an important historical source. Graffiti’s life is short, hence the importance of registrating and descripting its forms so that they can be subject to interpretation in the future. The set of collected graffiti shows the selected card of Polish history with pointing specific facts that inspired the creators of inscriptions.
