New legal regulation of public procuring in the Slovak Republic

Summary/Abstract: The submitted article is up-to-date information on the new legislation on public procurement, and is intended to provide the reader with an overview of news and changes from the previous legislation. It contains an explanation of the newly introduced terminology and procedures in the Slovak legislation, while it does not describe the actual course of procurement. The new law is a very extensive piece of legislation and I did not consider it expedient to submit a detailed comment to the reader. I draw particular attention to the new elements and new obligations introduced by this legislation.
