Summary/Abstract: For the interpretation and application of the provisions of art. 55 para. (2) of the Law no. 272/2004 regarding the protection and promotion of the rights of the child, republished, with the subsequent amendments and supplements, the phrase “if he continues his studies only once, in each form of up-to-day education” is interpreted in the sense that, the person who continues the studies and who enrolls to the a new faculty/specialization, benefits from special protection under the conditions provided by art. 55 para. (2) of the Law no. 272/2004, to the extent that the corresponding program of undergraduate studies, according to art. 140 para. (1) of the National Education Law no. 1/2011, with the subsequent amendments and supplements, to which it was initially registered is not finalized.
