Summary/Abstract: The paper refers to the motivational aspects that determine students of the 1st and 2nd level of the Psychological-Pedagogical Teacher Training Programme at the West University of Timișoara, Romania, in choosing the didactic career. The sample on which the research has been done is constituted of 100 students, 50 following the 1st level of study and 50 the 2nd one.
