Potential of Religious Tourism Focusing on the Pilgrimage Sites of the Liberec Region

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with religious tourism with a view to region Liberec. It concerns not only Christians, but also other residents of the Czech Republic, Europe and around the world. It is the specific form of tourism and is characterized by certain features. From an economic point of view it brings substantial resources to areas of the economy, but also the entire national economy. For many countries is an important source of income. Religious tourism helps to reduce seasonal fluctuations, because it can participate virtually during all seasons.
