Summary/Abstract: In the paper, the rules of dimensioning reinforced concrete chimneys accordingto the Polish code PN-88/B-03004 and the European code PN-EN 13084 werepresented. In particular, the rules which are different were described. The example of thereinforced concrete chimney was designed on the basis of two mentioned codes.
