Summary/Abstract: Traditionally, the content of school subjects has been designed with a strong independence of disciplines to each other, each separate discipline to be independent. Thus, knowledge that students are most often accumulate a collection of isolated elements, resulting in a static world knowledge. These issues are at odds with the large variety of connections and interactions between phenomena and their dynamic nature. The interdisciplinary approach assumes that no discipline in education is not a closed area, but can establish links between disciplines. Success in educational activity is only possible if students can correlate information from interdisciplinary lessons. Modern education, formative presupposes the existence of teaching – learning interdisciplinary as a prerequisite. Linking knowledge acquired from different disciplines contribute to the formation and development of flexible thinking, the ability to apply them in practice. The link between disciplines can be achieved at the level of content, aims, but also creates an environment for every student to express themselves freely, to work effectively in a team or individually.
