Summary/Abstract: Interest in the cultural heritage of a nation is one of the main stimuli for the development of tourism. The tendency to revitalize the tradition of this or that culture is salient in various countries around the world. Increasingly, today, in the process of homogenization of cultures of different communities around the world, spaces that preserve specific kinds of cultural heritage are created. Their creation was motivated by the expected cultural diversity, primarily in search of an idealized past. Reactivation of the past and “living history” is becoming more and more popular as ways to attract tourists. That provokes constructions of specific spaces and creation of new, specially built attractions. One of the most attractive forms of presentation of the cultural heritage nowadays is the ethnographic complex.
