Summary/Abstract: The study presents the partial results of the KEGA 021UMB-4/2015 grant assignment aimed at identifying the primary activities of primary school pupils and their views on the global positioning system and related games. A survey sample consisted of 205 pupils (75 girls and 130 boys) of nine years of elementary schools in the town of Brezno. The fundamental method was the poll, which we evaluated through TAP3 program from GAMO Banská Bystrica. The results of the survey point to the fact that the sporting activity of boys and girls is dominantly recreational. It does not promote nearly 20 pupils. Global Positioning System identifies 87.6% of boys and 74.7% of girls, 65.3% of boys and 72% of girls do not know the term geocaching. A geocaching navigation game would like 78.4% of boys and only 20% of girls to try on physical and sports education classes.
