Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of professional burnout among occupational therapists working with people with intellectual disabilities. Important from the point of view of various scientific disciplines, including special pedagogy, psychology, medicine or social prevention.The research was carried out in occupational therapy workshops using the diagnostic survey method and the questionnaire technique. The research allowed to determine individual, environmental and organizational threats of professional burnout. They pointed out the most common components of burnout. They outlined measures to prevent the phenomenon of professional burnout.
