Workshops and the production of the “Sarmatian” brooches type

Summary/Abstract: The author’s intention is to analyze the production centres of the „Sarmatian” brooches, more exactly of the variants with knob on the head, high chord, simple, double and triple spring, made out of bronze or silver. This approach is necessary in this moment, taking in account the fact that in the last years new semi–finished pieces, moulds and even workshops have been discovered.
