The importance of mediation in cases of international child abduction

Summary/Abstract: Worldwide statistics on divorce creates a concern about the emotional stability of the children resulting from these marriages ended in divorce or separation in fact, having parents of different nationalities. Mediation these causes may be the best solution for resolving these problems and achieve the best interests of the child. Thus, in 2008, 706 applications were submitted for the return between Member States.
