Ion Aluaş. The Notebooks of Apuseni

Summary/Abstract: The present study is methodologically framed in the analysis of documents. It is about six notebooks that belonged to the sociologist Ion Aluaş, written in the period in which he conducted sociological field research in the Apuseni Mountains. Three of the six notebooks (ABC) contain organizational notes and the remaining three comprise a considerable number of unstructured interviews taken by the sociologist; Aluaş interviewed representatives of local institutions such as: teachers, professors, physicians, the forester and the sergeant major of the Albac commune with it’s villages and hamlets. The first three books are listed by their description as documents and the other three are highlighted by reproducing answers that gain empirical sociological information value, both for the bibliography of Ion Aluaş, as well as for the sociological field research.
