Lifelong learning in school

Summary/Abstract: In our days, traditional education was replace with permanent education taking into account the recommendation made by European Commission in 2000. Nowadays we use the terms such „education from democracy”, „lifelong learning”, „permanent education”, „multicultural education”. We don’t have a strict definition for the concept of permanent definition. In our days, the education can’t be a limited domain in time (by the age of our students) or in space (in school buildings). After graduating, the individual must improve the knowledge forward being informed with the new scientific and technical discoveries. In this way, the teacher became an active factor in the entire educational process, learning with the ones he teaches, in continuous process of acquirement.
