Romanians from the right side of Tisa – Northern Maramures

Summary/Abstract: This article tries to explain how the people from Maramureş have continued to maintain unity and have fought together whenever they were called under the flag, to defend the ideals and borders. Here,Romanians still of Maramureş, were able to keep awake the conscience of the nation torch, keeping ordinances related ancestral language,customs and faith. Despite denationalization policy, promoted by the communist system, Romanians in this area, known as The North Maramureş, managed to preserve national identity intact.
