Summary/Abstract: Famous lyric and military poet – Władysław Syrokomla (Ludwik Kondratowicz) found his final burial ground on Rasos Cemetery. The representatives of Vilnius’ elite like Ignacy Chodźko, Antoni Edward Odyniec, Stanisław Moniuszko socialized in manor rented by the poet on the Borejkowszczyzna. After poet’s untimely death many people have been visiting him on Rasos Cemetery. Dead poet got the kindness of those who were trying to take care of his grave for decades.
