Summary/Abstract: The text analyzes major issues of Walter Benjamin’s philosophy. In the first part, the author characterizes twelve areas which are crucial in understanding Benjamin’s reflections, from biographic threads to mysticism, theology, history and magic. The first part closes with an analysis of Eros in Benjamin’s philosophy, and is also an introduction to reflections on Eros as its integrating principle, reflections in the context of opposition between angelic and satanic love.
