Rhetoric and the Screen

Summary/Abstract: There is less and less rhetoric diversity on the screen, despite all the genre variety of this media. To change ceaselessly remaining essentially the same is becoming a peculiar identity of the rhetoric of the screen. Such a confusion of rhetoric genres on television indicates a certain traumatic character of this medium. Thereof almost any sentimentality becomes tragicomic, and all tragedy pathetic. Missing a target turns to a standard of screen rhetoric. Endeavouring to follow the measure of life and adjust to it, the latter becomes measureless generality, vagueness, oddness, quasi-experize.
