Summary/Abstract: This article aims to show how, in the context of the territorial changes adopted in the Versailles Treaty, the issue of the citizenship of individuals residing in these areas was regulated. Moreover, this essay defines the concept of citizenship and presents the possibilities of changing citizenships in the event of territorial changes. TheVersailles Treaty is in the category of peace treaties which regulate in detail matters related to the liquidation of war. Among many issues, it also resolves the citizenship issue.
