Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes Rushdie’s 2015 novel, Two Years, Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Days, addressing the author’s recurrent themes: the relation between fiction and reality, between faith and reason, the tension between good and evil. I propose a comparison between this work and Rushdie’s previous novels (Midnight’s Children and The Satanic Verses), in terms of world-vision, style and narrative techniques.
