NEW BUILDS IN NUCLEAR ENERGY - CHALLENGES FOR THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Summary/Abstract: The study presents some basic theoretical assumptions of industrial project management in general, and in particular, project management in nuclear energy. By examining key documents such as the ISO standards for project management and some specific Guidelines in the field of nuclear energy, the study identifies the challenges of new builds in nuclear energy. On this basis, specific recommendations have been given both at macro and micro levels, which can improve the overall process of managing nuclear projects.
