The value of local horizon in teaching-learning Geography in primary school

Summary/Abstract: This study is a work of research, innovation and development. All these are visible in the attempt of combining Outcomes‑Based Learning with Competency–Based Learning. I illustrated a few methods and techniques of exploiting geographical elements in teaching and learning about the local surroundings, in primary school, enlarging the narrowness of the classroom by going out into nature‑the best environment for familiarizing children with geography.
