Summary/Abstract: This paper proposes a comparative analyses of several poems,named Psalm. This kind of poem has its roots in the Bible, where means an invocation to God. Modern poems, written by T. Arghezi, Al. Macedonski or L. Blaga has only this title, but their essence is the struggle of human being, who wants desperately to know if God really exists. Existentially questions are the base of modern poems, where the man tries to initiate a dialogue with God. Having no answer, his attitude changes from faith to disbelief. His final belief is that God lives everywhere, in every piece of nature around us.
