Interdisciplinary educational project “Through the past toward the future”

Summary/Abstract: Extra-school/ extra-curricular activities represent the space and opportunities which allow the transfer and application of knowledge, abilities, competences that students acquire throughout the educational process; they enhance the development of critical thinking and stimulate the involvement of the young generation in the decision making process regarding their education, all within the current context of respecting the human rights and taking social responsibilities. The project aims at developing the students’ abilities to analyze problem sand identify various solutions and also at eliciting an active, positive attitude towards local cultural values and team work. The students,organized in working groups and coordinated by their specialized teachers, will be able to identify the main cultural and spiritual objectives in the area and to use the acquired information in realizing different materials which will be preserved in the documentation department of the school as teaching aids
