From Grandparents to grandchildren. Traditions and customs from Trotuș Valley

Summary/Abstract: This review tries to explain the importance of this book: the preservation of the popular creations and customs existing in Trotus Valley. This writing combines the theory with the popular poetry, specific to this Moldavian space to bring off a complex perspective upon the side and the utility of keeping alive the traditions. Romanian folklore has kept within its traditions a multitude of cultural values which attest to our national spirit and identity of the Romanian people. This volume brings together not only the poetry of the winter customs, but the traditions and rituals specific to the passing away.
