Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to bring in attention the importance of the work written by Dimitrie Ghika‑Comăneşti A Romanian expedition in Africa. This work has both scientific and literary value, not only for the citizens of Comănești, but for our culture. That’s why, it ends with the recommendation to be re‑published nowadays, being an important masterpiece of the great Romanian explorers Dimitrie and Nicolae Ghika‑Comăneşti.
