Summary/Abstract: There should be pursued the openings and limits of the theories used by George Coșbuc in the scientific research of the folklore. His explanatory applications enlightened the popular creation, even if they were based on an ideational mechanism that was later reconsidered. These understandings ensure the elaboration of appropriate interpretations for his own poems.
