Clash of interests

Summary/Abstract: The legal regulation of clash of interests is given primarily by the Act on Conflict of Interests No. 238/1992 Coll. Its powers extend to public officials: deputies, senators, members of the government and heads of central administrative bodies. The Act enshrines the general obligation to refrain from conduct endangering impartiality in the performance of a public function, lists incompatible functions, determines the obligation to notify certain facts and proceedings in the matter of this Act.
