Summary/Abstract: The authors of the article consider that, given the failure of globalization, there have been and there are still occurring under our eyes, challenges never encountered in international society, regarding global security. It is obvious that, nowadays, 19 years after the end of the Cold War, security threats are no longer military, but economic, religious, ecological, informational, etc.Under these conditions, the strongly developed states seek ways to legitimize the use of force, subjecting the principles and requirements of international law to strong pressures in order to adapt them to the new realities and to return from the force of the law to the law of the force, ignoring the international community and thus paralyzing the activity of security organizations.
