The application of the appreciative method in the medical field

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this assignment is to review a part of literature that describes the appreciative inquiry, the relationship between appreciative methods and medicine, medical research on the placebo effect,medical research on the link between negative and positive effect on healing, the practice of this kind of inquiry in any organizational environment. Focusing on what works as opposed to what problems the community is having differentiates appreciative inquiry (AI) from traditional problem solving approaches. The persons involved in the process of change must start from what is working good, what is positive and their positive experience. The Language, the negotiation process, the interactions between persons are important in an appreciative inquiry.In the pages that follow we will discus how important appreciative inquiry is and the result of AI in medicine.
