Summary/Abstract: In this research we will shed light on one of the most complex issues of Albanian-Yugoslav relations in the years of defining the border between Albanian and SKS Kingdom (1921-1925). Since the Vermoshi issue has been partially dealt with by Albanian historiography, which is mainly included in the context of the St. Naum issue, we thought of treating it as a separate problem, addressing particularly the whole course of the above issue. Vermoshi, although a small geographical area but extremely important as a strategic point, became a very difficult problem and continued to exacerbate increasingly tense Albanian-Yugoslav relations, even tensions. It is nowwell known and is a consolidated understanding in Albanian historiography that, although international instances left Vermoshi on the Albanian border, after constant pressure from Belgrade, Albanian diplomacy led by Zog, for his career purposes, left Vermosh within the SKS Kingdom. Diplomatic acts and alternative sources have been exploited and studied in detail, all to bring to light the way Zog created the ways to lose Vermosh, justifiably.
