Summary/Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to adapt the Adventure Behavior Seeking Scale developed by Próchniak (2017) into Turkish culture. The research group consisted of 268 university students at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University who continue their education in different faculties and deal with outdoor sports in the 2019-2020 academic year. In order to assess individuals’ highly stimulating behaviors in natural environments, the aforesaid scale, originally in Polish and previously adapted into English, was used as data collection tool. The scale consists of 3 dimensions and 8 items. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used in the construct validity analysis of the scale. According to the EFA results, the KMO value of the scale was calculated as .83, and Bartlett’s Sphericity Test as 779.192 (p = 0.00), while the explained total variance was 43.60%. With respect to the results of Scree pilot analysis, the scale was decided to be one-dimensional, and it was figured out that the CFA results were compatible with the theoretical structure. It can be said that MDAÖ is a valid and reliable measurement tool in exposing the adventure seeking behaviors of individuals interested in nature sports.
