Summary/Abstract: The growing interest in strategic management has increased the interest in the roles of different business functions in the strategic management process. Human resources management tries to integrate with strategic human resources management (SHRM) into the strategic management process. The emergence of a resource-based business model (RBBM) in the field of strategic management has significantly affected SHRM. According to RBBM, the main determinant of sustainable competitive advantage is business resources and human resources are one of the important resources of the business. This idea shows that RBBM and SHRM are in a natural harmony. KDİM has become the most frequently used model in SHRM field today. In this study, after the basic views of RBBM and SHRM are briefly explained, how to apply RBBM to SHRM is examined based on the literature review.
