Summary/Abstract: Unchanged reproduction of a study published on pages 630–637 of issue 6 in the 28th volume of our journal. The author examines the relationship between the socio-economic structure, the development of the standard of living, the development of non-productive infrastructure and the urbanization process between 1949 and 1975, and their correlation. The study, together with the urbanization process, analyses the transformation of the economic structure between 1949 and 1960, the territorial differentiation of living conditions in the early 1960s, and the changes in the socioeconomic structure and living conditions between 1960 and 1975.
