Summary/Abstract: The article is a continuation on the possessiveness category in the Erzya dialects of Novaja Malykla district district villages in the Ul'janovsk region. Analysis of the language materials shows that in the area under study there are more case paradigms with possessive suffixes than in the codified language. A detailed description of the features of the paradigms has made it possible to identify both archaic and innovative phenomena in declinable word forms with possessive suffixes. Up to the present, these word forms show archaic morphological markers in order to express the number of possessor and possessed. Innovations include that instead of synthetic case forms, native speakers use analytical constructions of different structures to mark the genitive, accusative and dative cases. This phenomenon is true for all rows of the 3rd and 4th series of case paradigms with possessive suffixes.
