Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to analyze the resorts that urge us to become either creators or theatre consumers and tries to decipher how the theatrical act responds to fundamental human needs with the promise of satisfying them or even providing them with a surrogate. The theatrical act seems to feed on our need for Truth, Communication, Communion and, ultimately, Love, trying to return food to those who perform it, in an exchange it wants, hopes, dreams for equitable.
