Disclosure of Data of Breeding Cells and Embryos Givers – Selected Issues

Summary/Abstract: Breeding cells and embrios donors’ data disclosure becomes more important subject in legal practice and it is being updated with court decisions adjudicating in this matter, e.g. German court confirming the right of a person born after an in vitro fertilization procedure to learn personal data of his/hers biological father. The study aims to identify legal problems arising mainly from the regulations contained in the Act on the treatment of infertility and to provide an answer to the question of guarantee of the donors’ anonymity.
