Summary/Abstract: Constitutional law is a branch of law that is closely linked to politics. The Constitutional Court is then the court which, of all the courts, enters politics the most. This is a truth that must be fully realized, especially by those who work with constitutionality, to know their limits of "objectivity", which is fully true of the author of this text. Of course, questions of constitutionality and decisions of the Constitutional Court cannot be free from the influence of categories that we associate with politics rather than by law, including the ideologisation of attitudes and starting points of individual participants operating with the concept of constitutionality. In the following text, I will present one element from the struggle for electoral reform to the Parliament in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia - the size of the constituency. This element, which is mostly addressed only on the pages of political science journals, has become a symbol of the struggle for electoral reform, on which the Constitutional Court has also commented.
